NB Spiced Rum (70CL)

Each batch of our NB Rums will be slightly different in flavour profile and our next batch of NB Spiced Rum is seriously good! 

The base is from our Full Bodied Rum made using Indian cane molasses and now blended with some rested Scottish Rum from ex Sherry Octaves. It is naturally coloured and filtered with no additives or sweeteners. Blended with natural spices of sweet and bitter orange peel, cinnamon, grains of paradise, mild cloves and the addition of cut liquorice root which gives it the slight colouring. The result is a seriously delightful and subtly spiced rum with a beautiful balance of spices.

Nose:  On the nose, the rich Indian cane molasses blends with the velvety orange, mild cloves and the earthiness of the cinnamon. A very subtle hint of vanilla follows. Think lightly spiced Biscoff biscuits and the silky sweetness of orange icing sugar.  

Taste:  On tasting, the superb balance of spice is revealed. The cane molasses quickly gives way to creamy orange, subtle cloves, the warmth of cinnamon and pepper and a touch of added spice from the liquorice root. 

Preferred Serve:  Enjoy neat first or with ice. It is well complimented with ginger beer or pressed apple juice. Or any way you like!
